My name is Vanessa Decker and I grew up in Santa Monica, California and currently reside in beautiful Santa Barbara. I am the founding partner of multiple businesses and an active philanthropist. In addition to enjoying time with my family, my passions include Art, Script-writing, Film Journalism, watching the sunrise during an early morning hike, daily ballet barre fitness, cooking healthy gourmet meals for friends and family, and I am an avid reader. A couple of my favorite reads this year include Prince of The Marshes: And Other Occupational Hazards Of A Year In Iraq and The Places In Between, both autobiographical novels by author Rory Stewart. I am a big NPR fan and enjoy attending various types of lectures and art openings in the local area. I am fascinated by other cultures and religions and seek out opportunities to immerse myself in diverse social groups. My family life, professional and philanthropy work keeps me busy in the best way possible. At heart I am ridiculously silly and fun and enjoy living life to its fullest.
