CALM’s mission is to prevent, assess, and treat child abuse in Santa Barbara County by providing comprehensive, culturally competent services for children, adults and families.

Montessori Inspirations
A free Montessori inspired Parent / Child program occurring in the Summer months where families receive exposure to Montessori inspired education for ages 3 - 5 yrs old. Montessori education is an educational approach developed by Italian physician and educator Maria Montessori and characterized by an emphasis on independence, freedom within limits, and respect for a child’s natural psychological, physical, and social development.

PEP (Postpartum Education for Parents)
PEP provides peer support to new parents in Santa Barbara and beyond. Our mission is to ease the adjustment of the developing family after the arrival of an infant.
